Hi, My Name is RobertGart, an instructor in Computers. I managed the networking side of our school and I used IPCOP software for our Firewall. One of the features I configured, is the DHCP server and it works fine. Our admin wants me to block unwanted sites in our network and I know that IPCOP is capable of blocking sites. IPCOP has various add on's. Although, it's a great firewall, it seems
ipcop is a great platform, but it really needs to integrate copfilter into its base setup. but yes, ipcop and copfilter and a handfull of addons make ipcop a great device ive been using it for about 2 years now. and love it!
I recently moved from a Coyote Linux firewall to an IPCOP 1.4.6 with no addons firewall and I have a question. In Coyote, under the Advanced Firewall area, there was a way to block certain IP addresses from connecting to my network.
