Anyone else stream HBO on a PS3 or XBOX? I just downloaded it the other day on my PS3 and have had nothing but issues. Netflix streams flawlessly through it, but HBO has some serious buffering issues. I am able to watch for a little while, but then it starts buffering and doesn't stop.

I believe the HBO Go app on PS3 was updated last month actually. That still begs the question though: why cut off connection? Unless the details FutureLarking who gave some insight into the possible reason is true, I can't think of a single reason since literally anything runs HBO Go these days. basically if you can't invest 20-30 dollars in a dedicated streaming platform that supports hbo go, you simply don't respect what your PS3 is actually capable of. it's entirely overkill to use your ps3 to run any sort of media beyond a bluray if that was your only bluray player and maybe the home network video streaming option simply from the built in novelty but running readily available apps HBO Go is a companion app for existing subscriptions.
